Hello! I’m happy to have you stop by on the blog hop. I have so many great summer memories from my childhood. I loved playing in the sprinkler (note: that is not a pic of me above), camping, just relaxing in my back yard with a book, trips to Sea World, Kennywood, or Idlewild… So share with us your favorite childhood summer memory. I’ve got a rafflecopter for either a $5 Amazon Gift Card or a swag pack.

I have some of those too! I remember picking strawberries and green beans and eating them before getting in the house.

  1. My favorite summer memories is heading up North to stay with my cousins and my aunt. One of my cousins is 2months older than me so we were thick as thieves!

  2. Well, a long, long time ago in a galaxy not so far away, we went to Disney World… 🙂

  3. I remember running through the sprinklers in our backyard with my sisters during the summer 🙂

  4. When we went to Wildwood water park that had a long inner tube ride through rushing water that ended in a big pool! Good times!

  5. We would take a road trip every summer from NY to IL to visit my grandparents. The drive and the visit was always so much fun!

  6. I just remember the freedom we had as kids. We played all over the neighborhood, going from one house to the next.

  7. I can hardly recall any good summertime memories from childhood. I liked getting out of the house and being by myself… I’d walk on the abandoned train tracks, or go to the park– usually, there would be no one else there.

  8. My favorite is probably the year my family went and camped in Colorado and we went to a gold panning stream, and up Pikes Peak. And the campground we stayed at was right by a river with a train track on the other side, and when it would come through during the night, it sounded like the train was coming right through our camper!

  9. My favorite memory is when my sister was born, which was in the summer when I was 11.
